The New Baby
The baby is now the size of a softball and just got his/her fingerprints. Haley has picked out the name...Baby Cinderella.
A Happy Holiday Season
We have had a wonderful holiday! Hanukkah was early this year so it got us in the spirit at the beginning of December. We have been spending a lot of time with our family and friends, as it should be this time of year. Haley had friends over to decorate cookies. That was really funny!
We went to Yuba City to see cousins, aunts, and uncles. Haley LOVED going caroling (as you can see).
Christmas Eve was spent at the Rasul home with a fabulous meal mostly made by Grammy. Haley left out some cookies and milk for Santa and included a carrot for his reindeer. This was not part of the plan until we were at the mall and Haley wanted to see Santa for a second time. She walked right up to him and started talking about how we are going to leave him treats, etc. That's when he asked for the carrot. Haley was happy to comply. Well, Santa came and left a few special gifts and ate his goodies. Haley wanted to stay up and wait for him to come...oops...forgot to tell her about the whole "you gotta be asleep" part. We then had family over for a Christmas Day brunch followed by going to the movies.
The day after Christmas we headed to Monterey for a few days to celebrate Merf's birthday and hang with family Russell. The weather was beautiful, but cold. We enjoyed walking down to the wharf, eating out, playing tennis (hilarious) and playing games.
We are glad to be home and relaxing and putting the holiday decor away until next year. Today is great g-pa's birthday (93!) so we will be celebrating at the Garrett followed by dessert at Meredith and Nate's house. Haley is taking a nap and I have a 90210 rerun calling my name!

A Day at Diane's
Question: "Haley. Tell us about your day at Diane's house."
Answer: "Camryn was nice to me and I was nice to Camryn. Caroline was nice to me and I was nice to Caroline. Code-man was so funny. Kyla was a very good girl. Owen said 'stupid' and Diane said 'no' because that is a bad word and he got a time out."

Babies! Babies!
These last 10 days have been very exciting! On December 5th Jackson Giorgetti was born. This Saturday, the 15th, Samantha Nissen was born. We have loved seeing such close friends enter parenthood. We are so excited for them!
We had a fun filled weekend. It started off with the birth of Samantha Friday night/Saturday morning. Met up with another fam for breakfast, ran some errands and was in Los Gatos last night with Guido, Bridge, and Lorenzo. Always so fun to see them. I stopped by Merf and Nate's party for a bit. This morning we met up at the Farmer's Market with the Kobels and headed out to visit baby Nissen at home. On the way we were singing songs and Haley said "No thank you. Just drive the car Dad." Ok...
The evening ended with a trip to the store and Barnes and Noble where we saw Joni's book!!!! Haley yelled "That's my Grandma's book!" She was very proud...just like the rest of us!
3 more days until vacation!

Welcome to Our Blog!
We decided to get with the times and create a family blog. We have so enjoyed our friends' blogs and being able to be updated on what's happening. We will do our best to keep it updated with pictures and events. For those of you who don't already know, we are expecting our 4th family member in June! We are all very excited about the new addition. Life is good. Getting ready for the holidays. Haley is loving all of it! She tells us every day how Santa will be coming over and eating the cookies we make him. It's very fun.
Happy weekend!
